The Alberta Veterinary Medical Association is the professional regulatory organization that oversees the practice of veterinary medicine in Alberta. The ABVMA office is broken into six key areas as outlined below.

|The office of the Registrar attends to the regulatory functions of the association and supports Council, and the ABVMA Executive (Registrar, Deputy Registrar and Assistant Registrar).|

ABVMA OFFICE REOPENING
With Alberta well into Stage 2 of its Relaunch Strategy, the ABVMA office will reopen to employees on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020.
ABVMA staff have been working remotely since late March and will resume operations in the office with additional measures in place to comply with Alberta Health directives.
ABVMA staff are still available to serve you during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. MST). Email continues to be the preferred method of communication until the office reopens.
